In this role you will lead strategic procurement for manufacturing in Parma, partnering with cross-functional teams to forecast needs and secure best-value purchases. You will implement category strategies, manage supplier negotiations, and oversee order execution, quality, and delivery. The position combines analytics, supplier management, and continuous improvement to support the company’s industrial projects. This is an opportunity to shape sourcing at scale within a multinational manufacturing environment.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Collaborate with category managers to align procurement with category strategy
- Adapt and implement catalogues and framework contracts regionally
- Lead negotiations and award decisions following strategy
- Conduct supplier selection, base development, and onboarding of new suppliers
- Resolve supplier issues (quality, delivery, service) and liaise with technical/R&D; and production
- Research new technologies/materials on request from other functions
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure cost, availability, innovation, and quality in sourcing




- Ensure compliance with procurement processes and policies; manage KPI accountability

Responsabilità

- University degree in engineering or technical field; 5+ years in procurement
- Background in contract management
- Background in quality management
- Cost analysis and management experience
- Knowledge of design-to-cost in welded construction, CNC & Carpentry
- Inter-cultural sensitivity and stakeholder management
- Negotiation experience across supplier markets
- Market analysis experience
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Contract and framework experience
- Proactivity and result orientation
- Availability for short trips
- Knowledge of technical drawing
- Excellent Office and Excel skills
- English fluent
