Experteer OverviewAs Software Data Engineer, you will develop and optimize data ingestion pipelines for the manufacturing landscape, leveraging Kafka and cloud-based data platforms.
You will join the AMS team to support global data ingestion issues, drive data-driven transformation, and collaborate with the Milan team and Pirelli Digital Centers.
Your work will enable virtual prototyping, predictive maintenance, and analytics across factories and products.
This role blends data engineering, cloud tech, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate product and process improvements at scale.
Retribuzione / BenefitsDevelop pipelines to load factory systems into the data platform
Performance tuning of ETL processes
Write and optimize PL/SQL code
Draft and maintain technical documentation for ETL implementations
Maintain and intervene on existing ETL workflows
Interface with business sectors to gather requirements
Set up alerts and monitoring with CloudWatch and Python
Document developments,



conduct integration tests, and deploy in AWS
Handover solutions to the support team for governance
ResponsabilitàDegree in technical or scientific disciplines
Experience handling operational tickets and cross-functional collaboration
Strong SQL skills with performance analysis
Experience with Aurora, RDS, and PostgreSQL
Cloud experience, preferably AWS (MSK, EMR, Aurora, xysqume DMS, Lambda)
Programming skills in Python, Node.js, Java, and Angular
Experience designing, developing, and managing scalable ETL pipelines
Knowledge of data integration/streaming tools with at least two technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka)
Familiarity with Big Data architectures (Hadoop, Flink)
