ph3Network Platforms Operations Engineer – Role Overview /h3 pIn Fastweb + Vodafone we are looking for a Network Platforms Operations Engineer in the Services Platforms team of Technology Security. Your objective is to support the management of the platform systems for access services and connectivity support, collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure smooth operation of services. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage activities related to systems that enable end clients to access services (Network Authentication, DHCP, ACS, DNS, Network Automation) and connectivity (SDWAN platforms). /li liHandle monitoring, incident/problem handling, change configuration, release, and security operations on managed systems. /li liEnsure service operation by detecting and managing anomalies flagged by alarm systems, KPI analysis or end-user reported issues. /li liParticipate in project meetings with engineering and suppliers for new systems/services to be added or existing ones evolved. /li liCollaborate with Cyber Security and Security teams to manage incidents and analyze security issues on managed systems, and manage flows to security infrastructures for compliance and information analysis. /li /ul h3Key Interlocutors /h3 ul liTechnology Network Engineering structures, responsible for design and validation of infrastructures. /li liSuppliers providing support for managed systems.



/li liIT structures, responsible for BSS and OSS systems. /li liSecurity Team for security‑related topics of managed systems. /li /ul h3Essential Requirements /h3 ul liDegree in Telecommunications Engineering or STEM disciplines. /li liKnowledge of main network protocols. /li liKnowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems. /li liKnowledge of orchestration of containerized applications and services (Docker, Kubernetes). /li liExperience with scripting languages (Perl, Python) and automation tools (e.g. Ansible). /li liStrong motivation to achieve personal and group objectives. /li liAvailability for future on‑call requirements. /li liFlexibility and proactivity. /li liExcellent English language proficiency. /li /ul h3Other Information /h3 pLocation: Preferably Milan + hybrid mode. /p pContract: Permanent (non‑fixed term). /p pWorking hours: Full Time. /p pReference collective agreement: Telecommunications. /p pSalary: €37,000 gross per year + variable. /p pThe final economic offer may be higher, determined by skills, autonomy, and responsibility scope. /p pWe are an inclusive workplace dedicated to guarantee bpari occasione /b without distinction of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, age, religion, and disability. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
