Global BU HSE Fire and Explosion Program Lead (F/M/D)

In this role you will lead the Global Fire and Explosion Safety Program across facilities, shaping safety culture and operational excellence. You will provide technical guidance, assess prevention systems, and develop cross-functional safety strategies that meet regulatory and internal standards. You will drive risk assessments, training, and incident investigations to prevent recurrence and improve safety performance. This is a global, impact-driven position that partners with real estate, procurement, and site teams to ensure compliant, safe operations.

- Lead the Fire and Explosion Safety Program across business units and provide technical guidance
- Assess and safeguard prevention systems on facilities, tools, and equipment
- Develop and implement cross-functional safety strategies and standards
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans




- Provide training and develop safety competencies at local sites
- Define safety requirements during purchasing, installation, commissioning, and maintenance
- Coordinate with Real Estate projects for compliance with safety requirements
- Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions and preventive actions
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering with specialization in Fire and Explosion safety
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge of EN (EU) Fire and Explosion Regulations, SEVESO, ATEX, British Standards, API, NFPA
- Experience in safety inspections and audits
- Experience collaborating with insurance providers on prevention
- Technical safety expertise for risk reviews in capital projects related to Fire and Explosion safety
