Role and Responsibilities
Support the Manager in the development, implementation, maintenance and dissemination of the Integrated Management System (Quality, Safety and Environment) within the company.
Act as technical point of contact for site-based safety; conduct field inspections and behavioral safety audits, providing expert guidance to site managers to ensure immediate risk mitigation.
Identify training needs and design specialized coaching programs for high?risk activities and promote a proactive safety culture.
Plan and execute the annual internal audit schedule; collaborate with external certification bodies during surveillance and renewal audits.
Analyze accidents and near?misses using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies; propose corrective actions with the QHSE Manager to prevent recurrence.
Update the company's quality,
safety and environmental documentation in coordination with department managers and company management.
Monitor and qualify the ongoing performance of subcontractors, ensuring total compliance with SUEZ Group requirements throughout the supply chain.
Ensure accurate, timely local reporting aligned with global group standards.
Monitor changes in local and international legislation (Safety & Environment); assist the QHSE Manager in assessing impacts on operations and updating internal procedures.
Collaborate with department managers to integrate QHSE requirements into business processes without disrupting operational efficiency.
Qualifications
At least 8–10 years of experience managing QHSE systems in large?scale civil construction, engineering or complex infrastructure sectors.
Proven track record as a field?based ASPP.
Degree or diploma in a technical discipline (engineering preferred).
Completion of specific training courses for ASPP (Modules A, B) and Lead/Internal Auditor courses (ISO ****, *****, *****).
Italian mother tongue; fluent in English; French is a plus.
Expert knowledge of health and safety regulations, fire and environmental risks; advanced familiarity with current safety and environmental legislation.
Analytical and critical thinking skills; understanding of KPIs and continuous improvement principles.
Understanding of business mechanisms and Integrated Management System procedures.
