Description

We are seeking a SW Test Specialist to join the headquarters located in the province of Varese, within the white industry sector.

The person will report directly to the delivery lead.

Responsibilities

- End to End ownership of Project Deliverables (Part of Scrum team);
- BASIC on the Developing, Debugging of C# / Python scripts for Automation;
- Knowledge on Software Quality attributes, Software system END to END testing;
- Collaborate with project SI and Scrum Team on the defect leakage and project planning;
- Advocate of Agile Methodologies;
- Able to perform requirement engineering;
- Responsible for reviewing test scenarios, test cases based on business requirements with the help of Project team;
- Able to design and develop test cases for NUD & specific features;
- Responsible to mentor & review the work done by junior team members;
- Defect triaging and classify to the module;
- Follow set testing process and ensure compliance;
- Prepares / updates the metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project;
- Understanding of Software Unit Testing;
- Plan and coordination Test execution based on project priority;
- Create the test plan as per the software releases.

Application Of Technical Tools

- Expertise in CLM, Jira Tool;
- Able to Configure ATE (NI, ETAS);
- Burndown charts , Closing story & task.

Technical Mentoring And Coaching / Development

- Develop System domain expertise;
- Train on test design techniques - ISTQB;




- ISTQB Agile Certification.

Knowledge Management

- Proficient in one of the Test Automation tool;
- Certified professional in Test Automation Development Tool (Ex : ETAS, NI, Dspace, ISTQB);
- Strong in C# scripting;
- Trained in Agile.
- Understanding or exposure to IOT, WiFi, BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy);
- Proficient in Product life cycle process;
- Able to apply new physics to solve new problems leveraging Programming, scripts, solvers combination etc.;
- Technical understanding of full system / Simulation type / Load case / Product attribute etc. for different product category;
- Application of basic OPEX/Lean tool and technique/critical thinking.

Required Skills

- B.E. Electronics Engineer, E& TC , Computer Engineer, Mechatronics or correlated area;
- Proficiency in the C and Python language;
- Ability to read datasheets, software & hardware reference documents, create Embedded setups and debug hardware related issues without supervision;
- Fluent English
- 2+ years of experience with professional software engineering practices over all aspects of software development life-cycle, including writing requirements specifications, developing design guidelines and coding standards, performing code reviews, source code control, build systems, testing, release engineering and field support
- Knowledgeable of theory and use of Test Driven Development (TDD)
