Your Mission:
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Key Account Executive Travel Retail EMEA to join our team based in our HQ in Milan. Reporting to the Travel Retail Manager EMEA, you will play a key role in driving Venchi's growth across the Travel Retail channel, identifying new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing partners across the region. Acting as a brand ambassador, you will support the expansion of Venchi's presence in airports, duty free environments and strategic travel hubs, ensuring commercial excellence, brand consistency and sustainable business growth. You will work closely with Wholesale, Marketing, Retail, Operations and other HQ functions to maximize performance and unlock new opportunities across the EMEA market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the development and growth of the Travel Retail business across EMEA, contributing to the achievement of sales, distribution and profitability targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across airports, duty free operators,
travel retail distributors and strategic partners, in line with Venchi's growth objectives and brand positioning.
- Manage and expand relationships with existing clients, leading commercial negotiations, defining annual business plans and ensuring long-term value creation.
- Monitor sales performance, KPIs and market trends, leveraging insights to maximize growth opportunities and improve business results.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to design and execute product launches, activations, promotional initiatives and visibility plans tailored to the channel.
- Ensure brand standards, merchandising guidelines and retail excellence principles are consistently implemented across the assigned markets and partners.
- Conduct regular market visits, store checks and competitive analysis, collecting customer and consumer insights to support strategic decision-making and channel development.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and support the onboarding and development of new distributors and commercial partners, ensuring effective execution and sustainable business growth.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 4-6 years of experience in Travel Retail, International Sales, Business Development or Key Account Management roles, preferably within FMCG, Food & Beverage, Luxury or Premium consumer goods environments.
- Proven experience in developing international markets and managing travel retail operators,
key accounts and distributors
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in business planning, sales forecasting and performance analysis.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive attitude and strong ownership of results.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the EMEA region (up to 30%).
- Fluent in English; knowledge of an additional language (Spanish or French) is considered a strong advantage.
