pA fast-growing fintech in Milan is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of a cloud-native platform running on Google Cloud Platform, built on Kubernetes, Terraform and Flux CD. /ppbr/ppstrong The challenge /strong /ppThis is the first full-time DevOps hire. The infrastructure exists and works, but the practices around it are still being defined. You will assess the current IaC implementation, close the gap between test and production, and set the standard for how the platform is deployed, observed and recovered. The product handles financial operations for thousands of SMEs, so reliability and compliance are not optional extras. /ppbr/ppstrong?️ Responsibilities /strong /pulliOwn the cloud infrastructure end to end: reliability, scalability and security posture. /liliAssess the existing Terraform implementation and replicate best practices from test to production. /liliOptimize and automate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Flux CD. /liliStrengthen the observability framework (Prometheus, Grafana, Google-native tooling, OpenTelemetry). /liliDraft and implement disaster recovery plans for core infrastructure components. /liliPartner with the Payments, Onboarding and Billing teams to build resilience and recovery into their applications. /liliDrive cost optimization and performance tuning across GCP services. /liliDocument infrastructure, operational procedures and architectural decisions.



/liliAct as the internal reference for DevOps practices and mentor the wider tech team. /liliKeep the platform aligned with regulatory and security compliance requirements, including external audit readiness. /li /ulpbr/ppstrong✅ Requirements /strong /pulli4+ years in DevOps, SRE or Software Engineering roles with strong operational exposure. /liliExtensive hands-on GCP experience: GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Monitoring. /liliTerraform at production scale. /liliDocker and Kubernetes. /liliCI/CD design and implementation, ideally with GitHub Actions. /liliMonitoring and logging with Prometheus and OpenTelemetry. /liliExperience with distributed systems. /liliStrong troubleshooting across application, network (TCP/IP) and system layers. /liliFluent English. /li /ulpbr/ppstrong?
