ppThe Corporate Credit Risk unit at BBVA Milano is an integral part of the Global Risk Management – EMEA team.
Its main function is to deliver best-in-class credit analysis of corporate clients, monitoring the local portfolio and ensuring the safety and soundness of wholesale lending through risk policy management.
/p h3As a Corporate Credit Risk Associate you will be responsible for: /h3 ul liAssessing the credit and financial strength of BBVA's clients by performing fundamental credit analysis of counterparties, using both quantitative and qualitative factors.
/li liPreparation, submission for approval and presentation at relevant Credit Committees of Financial Programs through relevant discretion processes.
/li liApproving utilization of sanctioned limits within discretion.
/li liEnsuring the establishment and effectiveness of credit policies and risk limits as well as compliance with risk appetite.
/li liSupporting and providing guidance to other units within BBVA.
/li /ul h3Qualifications: /h3 ul liBA/BSc Finance or Business Management or any other related subject.
/li liDemonstrable experience in credit analysis, corporate advisory,



credit policies review and regulatory reporting in Banking Groups active in Retail, Private, Corporate segments and Investment Banking of at least 3 years.
/li liDevelopment of local credit reporting system.
/li liStrong analytical skills, including understanding of key financial components (liquidity position, leverage profile, etc.) and the ability to form independent opinions on credit, recognizing emerging risks.
/li liSolid Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills.
/li liUnderstanding of banking products and sustainability issues.
/li liSpanish and English: fluent.
/li liStrong inter-personal and verbal communication skills.
Should be at ease in communicating with internal and external stakeholders within risk management and other divisions.
/li liStrong organization and time management skills.
Able to work under time pressure.
/li liStrong problem solving and decision-making skills.
/li liProactive, ethical, client-oriented, out-of-the-box thinker.
