For our international Regulatory Affairs team, we are looking for a new intern who will give support to the compliance assessment and management of toys and promotional items including other food-contact materials across European markets, including:
- Evaluation of applicable regulatory requirements, including laboratory testing;
- Provide advice on project feasibility and risk assessment;
- Review of the technical documentation, declarations of conformity, certificates,
and laboratory test reports;
- Compliance verification of labeling and consumer information;
- Preparation of technical specifications and regulatory requirements for supply agreements;
- Monitor and research European legislation and standards relevant for toys and other non-food items;
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Trade Marketing, Packaging, Quality, Procurement, Legal and Regulatory Affairs;
- Communication and coordination with national and international suppliers, testing laboratories and external consultants.
Who you are?
- Degree in scientific or engineering disciplines, or in related technical fields (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Material Science/Engineering, etc.)
- Proficiency in spoken and written English;
- Knowledge of a second foreign language highly appreciated;
- Strong passion for product safety;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Flexibility and adaptability, critical thinking, team-working oriented and problem-solving approach.
