TXT e-Tech Srl, part of the TXT Group, is looking for a Software Engineer to join innovative projects in the Aerospace & Defence sector, focused on the development of advanced Human-Autonomy Teaming systems.Main Responsibilities
- Define functional and logical architectures for Human-Autonomy Teaming systems.
- Model interactions between operators, software systems, and autonomous functionalities.
- Define levels of autonomy, responsibility allocation, and decision-making authority between humans and systems.
- Design transition, supervision, authorization, and override mechanisms.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, system architecture, and software implementation.
- Derive low-level software requirements from system models.
- Contribute to the development and validation of advanced algorithms for aerospace and defence applications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Experience in software architecture design.
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Good knowledge of C++.
- Experience in developing decision-making algorithms.
- Experience with Machine Learning frameworks, preferably PyTorch.
- Experience in software testing, integration, and validation activities.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience in the Aerospace & Defence sector.
- Knowledge of Human-Machine Interaction (HMI) principles.
- Experience in the development of autonomous systems.
- Knowledge of Knowledge Representation techniques and Ontologies.
Soft Skills

- A permanent contract with a salary range between €32,000 and €37,000 gross per year.
- Employment level and compensation package will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate's experience and qualifications, in accordance with the Italian Metalworking Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico).
