/p pWe are currently seeking a dynamic Regional Account Manager – Public Sector to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.
This role focuses on developing trusted relationships across public administration, guiding clients through their cybersecurity transformation journey, and promoting a security?first culture aligned with Fortinet's values.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDevelop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets /li liDrive the adoption of Fortinet's products and services across assigned public sector accounts, supporting long?term customer success /li liBuild and maintain executive?level relationships with key decision?makers, influencers, and strategic partners within public administration /li liCoordinate internal teams to deliver customer?focused proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and statements of work /li liPromote cybersecurity awareness and best practices in alignment with Italian and European regulations /li liServe as the lead contact responsible for the flow of information to and from executive management /li liMaximize Fortinet's opportunity while delivering value?added solutions to assigned public sector customers /li liMaintain an accurate and consistent pipeline and sales forecast /li liCollaborate with internal stakeholders including partner channel managers, technical sales engineers,
and consulting professionals /li liTravel within the assigned territory as required to support business opportunities /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience in technology sales, ideally within the cybersecurity or networking sectors /li liDemonstrated success in selling solutions to public administration customers, including education, healthcare, or local government entities /li liStrong knowledge of IT security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, antivirus, IDS/IPS solutions /li liA track record of consistent quota achievement and career stability /li liExcellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non?technical audiences /li liA goal?oriented mindset with strong business acumen and leadership capabilities /li /ul h3Compensation /h3 pThis role is governed by the applicable CCNL, including its classification, minimum salary levels and pay progression rules.
In line with EU pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this position will be provided to all candidates before the interview stage, together with information on the objective criteria used for determining pay and progression.
