/ph3Your Opportunity, Your Team /h3ulliThe Facilities Mechanic III is an expert in the field of industrial maintenance and equipment repair.
You will be a top technical resource to maintain and troubleshoot multiple material handling systems and building components and requires advanced understanding of troubleshooting and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
There is an emphasis on the troubleshooting and fine-tuning of electrical systems and electronics.
This includes Programmable Logic Control (PLC), Variable Frequency Drives, and other controls.
The goal is to ensure the system is operating at peak production requirements.
/li /ulh3Where You'll Work /h3ulliThis role is onsite and will require you to work from our Florence, SC daily.
Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
/li /ulh3What You'll Do /h3ulliPerform and facilitate general facility repairs such as plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, HVAC, and wall repair.
/liliPerform planned and unplanned repairs, and preventative maintenance to production-related equipment, Powered Industrial Trucks, and building equipment.
/liliSupport and perform planned and unplanned repairs and preventative maintenance to maintain operation of conveyors and sorter equipment.
/liliHave a fundamental understanding of AC and DC systems and how to use a voltage meter.
Can follow lock out/tag out policy.
/liliHelp implement continuous improvement processes including Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities.
/liliUnderstand and comply with all safety and environmental regulations company procedures.
/liliInput and maintain records using CMMS systems to ensure accuracy of time, parts, and repairs.
/liliImplement mentoring responsibilities for orienting, training, assigning work related tasks.
/li /ulh3What You'll Bring /h3ulliRead and comprehend technical manuals.
Familiarity with blueprints, and engineering specifications /liliHigh School graduate or equivalent; Industrial mechanic trade school courses or certification or equivalent military technical training /lili5 years experience with mechanical and electrical systems including conveyor/sortation systems or similar equipment.
