Analyses and shares market trends, and ensures transparent reporting to continuously improve cost, quality, and service.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES: Translate Group Procurement strategy into actionable category plans and support Emmi Group companies across key indirect spend categories (Professional Services, Temporary Labor, Marketing and ICT), ensuring effective execution and value delivery, with a primary focus on supporting Emmi Desserts Italia (EDITA). Act as International Lead Buyer (ILB) for Professional Services, Human Resources, ICT, and Marketing services and solutions. Coach and support other ILBs in defining and executing multi-year indirect category strategies; perform ILB duties directly for assigned categories where applicable. Identify, plan, and implement cross-entity synergies (demand bundling, specification harmonization, supplier consolidation, shared contract frameworks) to maximize value and standardize practices across Emmi companies. Build and continuously optimize the group indirect procurement organization, capabilities, methods, and talent development, with a dotted line to the relevant ILB for ILB-specific activities. Support and train the local indirect procurement team at Emmi Desserts Italia (EDITA), aligning group standards with local needs, in coordination with the EDITA Head of Procurement. Build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at group and business-unit level, ensuring structured involvement in decision-making. Drive cost savings, quality improvement, service performance, and procurement excellence across indirect spend. COMPETENCES &

Familiarity with key procurement tools and methodologies (Category Strategy, TCO, Make-or-Buy, Should-Cost Analysis). Interest in and exposure to international markets and business environments.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS: ~ Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, International Trade, Procurement, or Marketing; or equivalent technical/commercial training in a relevant field (Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, Marketing). ~8–12 years of overall professional experience in procurement or supply chain. ~ Full proficiency in English. Other languages are considered as a plus. ~ Minimum 2 years in strategic procurement (senior buyer level or above). ~ Strong knowledge of procurement processes, procurement markets and indirect spend categories; knowledge of national and international contract and commercial law. ~ Category management experience in Marketing, Professional Services, ICT and/or Human Resources & Temporary Labour services. ~ Relevant specialization a plus: leadership training, purchasing/logistics/supply chain diploma, MBA, or food economics diploma. xrdztoy WHAT WE OFFER: A competitive salary package: € + MBO Hybrid-working policy with high flexibility Ticket restaurant Mobility: frequent business travel within Europe Work location: Gattico-Veruno (NO), with a remote working policy.
