Project Manager Assistant – Internship

ALDA – The European Association for Local Democracy is dedicated to the promotion of good governance and citizen participation at the local level. In particular, ALDA focuses on activities that facilitate cooperation between local authorities and civil society. It was established at the initiative of the Council of Europe’s Congress of Local and Regional Authorities to coordinate and support the network of Local Democracy Agencies.

Terms of Reference ALDA is searching for a Project Manager Assistant – internship for the Implementation Department.

The candidate will work under the supervision of the Grant & Strategy Coordinator – Italy , by undertaking the main following tasks:

- Support the development of the Coordinator agenda and the preparation of materials for ALDA+ communications.
- contribute to the management, implementation and logistical support of projects;
- support for administrative tasks related to organisational needs;
- maintain contacts with partners;
- participation in the redaction of position papers, interim and final reports for projects;
- help with day-to-day activities of the office.





Skills Needed Applicants should meet the following requirements:

- University student or graduated;
- Languages: excellent written and spoken skills in Italian and English
- Soft skills, relevant for the position, will also be assessed:
- Ability to work in a team as well as individuallyGood interpersonal and communication skillsPrecision

- Problem solver attitude
- High motivation and strong interest in ALDA activities.

Terms of Contract The internship contract will be issued for a period of 6 months starting from September 2026 . Scholarship: 500 € + public transport pass ( if resident outside the municipality of Vicenza)

Location: Vicenza (Italy)
