Buyer (Maternity Cover) Haier Europe is looking for a proactive, self‐driven, and motivated individual to join the Indirect Procurement team. What You Will Do The Indirect Procurement buyer will manage the end‐to‐end purchasing process for the assigned indirect commodities. The role ensures compliance with Group standards and policies while delivering optimal value through strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier management, and cost control activities. Lead negotiations to secure the best quality‐cost ratio in indirect procurement.
Identify and leverage cross‐regional synergies and inter‐company sourcing opportunities. Support the development and implementation of Master Service Agreements in collaboration with Haier Group procurement teams based in Italy. Manage the full vendor‐management process: scouting, offer evaluation, SLA, T&C; definition and contract drafting (in collaboration with the Legal department).
Process orders in the company ERP system and maintain accurate procurement documentation.
What You Need To Succeed Must
Have University degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in Indirect Procurement or similar roles, preferably in a dynamic, international environment. Fluent in English and Italian; working proficiency in French and/or Spanish.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other common IT tools; strong SAP experience preferred.
Soft Skills
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Proactive mindset with a strong drive for continuous improvement and professional development in procurement.
Other
Strong interest in professional growth in procurement is essential. Fixed‐Term Contract (Maternity Cover); Full‐Time.
