Process Development Scientist

In this role you will act as the primary SME for Downstream Processing and Single Use Technologies, guiding bioprocess development and scale-up. You will translate complex data into actionable recommendations and support commercial success through customer consultations, partnerships, and training. You'll lead hands‐on development, troubleshooting, and thought leadership activities with R&D; and marketing teams.

Serve as the primary SME for Downstream Processing and Single Use Technologies across batch and integrated bioprocesses.

Design and execute hands‐on process development and scale‐up following self‐developed protocols.

Process and analyze raw data to derive scientific recommendations.





Lead scale‐down studies for troubleshooting, root‐cause analysis, and optimization.

Collaborate with clients' technical teams, providing consultative and hands‐on guidance.

Engage in thought leadership activities (industry conferences, webinars) and deliver trainings.

Work with internal teams (commercial, R&D;, marketing) to meet customer needs and drive continuous capability improvement.

Master or Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering or Life Sciences

Experience in customer‐facing technical roles or scientific consulting

Familiarity with scientific modeling tools for bioprocess optimization

5–10 years delivering technical presentations at industry events

Knowledge of GMP and ICH guidelines

Experience in Systems and Automation is a plus
