Are you an Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer who loves diving deep into technical problems, but also thrives in the field, solving them hands-on?
We’re looking for a Failure Analysis Engineer to join a cutting-edge technology team in the Netherlands. You’ll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting mechatronic and electronic equipment failures , performing root cause analyses (RCA) , and creating technical reports that drive real product improvement.
Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery and product failures
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on electronic, electrical, and mechatronic systems
Document findings in clear, detailed technical reports
Partner with quality, product, and manufacturing teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
Support both internal manufacturing and external clients with containment measures and reliability improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve systemic issues and prevent recurrence
Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BEng) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
~2+ Years of experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems
~ Background in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics, or complex automation systems
~ Strong analytical skills and ability to write structured, technical reports
~ Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
~ Proactive mindset, high sense of responsibility, and ownership of problems from start to finish
1-2 year contract (40 hours/week) with the possibility of permanent employment.
~ 3,500 - €5,000 (based on experience and education).
~25 paid vacation days + paid public holidays.
~ Holiday allowance of 8.33% , paid annually in May.
