We are looking for Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team.
Data Center
Technicians are the primary resolver and troubleshoot and solve a range of datacenter infrastructure issues including, but not limited to: hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. You will be part of the Data Center Operations (DCO) team, overseeing the operation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and hardware for data centers in AWS Cloud regions. You will become the primary resolver for your support team, and gain troubleshooting skills on different hardware and software cases.
SHIFT WORK Some of the roles within this organization are shift-based hence readiness & availability to work rotating shifts is required for this position. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster a strong safety culture. DATA CENTER OPERATIONS (DCO)
Diagnosing hardware and network problems followed by physical repairs Troubleshooting events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Performing root cause analysis of equipment failures Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations) possibility to work rotating shifts (morning/late/night) as well as weekends to maintain the 24/7 data center environment Local travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
A valid in Italy driving license is required as Data Centers may not have any public transportation available nearby. Our data centers are located in remote areas outside Milan, where access via public transport may be limited. Therefore, a valid EU driving license is required for this role.
Work Schedule This is a 100% onsite in-person position due to the hands-on nature of managing mission-critical infrastructure. The position is classified at level 5 or above, depending on the candidate's skills, competences and experience. The minimum gross annual base salary for this position is listed below.
The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full-time basis. For tempo parziale hours, the salary will be pro-rated. Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate's skills, competencies, and experience.
Amazon's package may include further pay components where applicable. In addition to statutory benefits, and those applicable to the relevant CBA, company supplementary benefits may apply subject to further terms.

IT hardware troubleshooting related experience Completed formal education/apprenticeship or training in IT related field Good command of English as it's an international environment.
