Milan, Lombardy, Italy (Hybrid: 1 day/week working from home)Company: Schindler GroupYour ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechanical Engineer – Interior Design, you will contribute to the development and validation of interior mechanical solutions.Your responsibilities include:Providing technical solutions and design concepts for the integration of interior components, ensuring alignment, consistent gaps and premium fit & finishDesigning interfaces between mechanical structures and interior elements (e.G.
frames, brackets, fasteners, aesthetic components)Performing tolerance analysis and managing tolerance chains impacting alignment, spacing and perceived qualitySupporting prototyping and physical validation activities, including on‑site verification of alignments, flatness, gaps, reflections and surface qualityEnsuring design‑to‑cost considering manufacturability, installability and maintainabilityCreating 3D models,
