We are seeking an IT Data Analytics Specialist to join our Global Data Analytics team in Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy. In this role you will build and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power our Smart Manufacturing and AI initiatives, transforming raw data into a reliable foundation for advanced analytics.
Responsibilities Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and process high‐volume data. Support the maintenance of the Global Data Lake and assist in designing structured data models and schemas. Write and optimize complex SQL queries for efficient data extraction and transformation.
Collaborate directly with Data Scientists and Analysts to provide the high‐quality datasets they need for predictive modelling and business reporting. Develop scripts to automate manual data processes, reducing latency and improving availability for global stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Language: Fluent English is a must, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
Experience: 1–2 years of hands‐on experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a similar role is preferred. A strong "Own It" attitude, aligned with Vertiv's Core Behaviors.
