Mission Our client is an international manufacturing company operating in the metalworking industry, specializing in the production of high-precision mechanical components for global markets.
To strengthen its Italian manufacturing plant based in Padua (approximately 200 employees), we are looking for an experienced HR Manager. Reporting functionally to the Group HR Director and partnering closely with the Plant Manager and the local Leadership Team, the HR Manager will lead all Human Resources activities at site level, ensuring alignment between business objectives and Group HR strategy. Managing a team of two HR professionals, the successful candidate will act as the key HR reference for the plant, combining strategic vision with a strong operational mindset.
Main Activities
Lead and oversee all HR activities across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with Group policies and local regulations.
Act as a strategic business partner to the Plant Manager and the Leadership Team, supporting organizational development and business performance.
Lead, coach and develop the local HR team.
Drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, succession planning and employee development initiatives.
Promote employee engagement and support change management projects.
Manage compensation and benefits processes in alignment with corporate guidelines.
Prepare and monitor HR budgets, forecasts and cost controlling activities, providing regular reporting and KPI analysis.
Manage industrial relations, maintaining constructive relationships with trade unions and employee representatives.
Support organizational design and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment.
Ensure HR processes are efficient,
compliant and aligned with business priorities.
Collaborate closely with the Group HR function on international HR projects and initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or a related field.
7–10 years of experience as an HR Manager within a structured manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of the full HR lifecycle and modern HR practices.
Proven experience in industrial relations and collective bargaining with trade unions.
Solid experience in HR budgeting, cost controlling, forecasting and HR analytics.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into effective HR solutions.
Excellent analytical and reporting skills with confidence in managing HR KPIs.
Professional proficiency in English (minimum CEFR C1 preferred), both written and spoken.
Strong knowledge of Italian labour law and HR best practices.

Location: Padua Compensation package and employment terms will be aligned with the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
