RINA is currently recruiting for a Global Direct Procurement - Business Partner to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Direct Procurement - Real Estate & I&M; Division.

Mission The Global Procurement Business Partner acts as the strategic interface between Procurement and assigned Business Units, Functions, or Regions. The role ensures alignment between business priorities and procurement strategies, supports sourcing effectiveness, drives value creation, and contributes to the deployment of global category strategies defined by the Global Procurement Director. The position collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into procurement requirements, enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and ensure consistent application of procurement policies and global standards.

Key Accountabilities

Strategic Business Partnering

Work closely with assigned Business Units/Functions to understand priorities, risks, technical needs, and commercial expectations.

Translate business requirements into procurement strategies and sourcing plans.

Provide market insights, TCO evaluations, and commercial recommendations to support decision-making.

Align procurement actions with timelines, cost targets, and operational needs.

Sourcing & Category Strategy Support

Contribute to sourcing events in collaboration with Category Managers and Global Procurement.

Gather stakeholder inputs to support the definition and refinement of category strategies.

Assist in supplier selection, negotiation preparation, and commercial assessment.

Ensure regional/local adoption of global procurement standards and processes.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Quality to ensure procurement is integrated into planning and project execution.

Support bids, project development,



and operational needs with procurement insights, cost scenarios, and delivery expectations.

Facilitate communication between stakeholders and procurement teams at global and regional level.

Supplier Interaction & Performance Monitoring

Interact with suppliers regarding operational matters and elevate strategic issues to Category Managers.

Monitor supplier performance indicators and propose improvements.

Ensure supplier compliance with contractual, ethical, sustainability, and quality standards.

Compliance, Governance & Continuous Improvement

Ensure adoption of procurement policies, approval workflows, and compliance requirements.

Support audits and documentation accuracy.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and support digital procurement initiatives.

Education

Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering General

Qualifications

5–7 years of experience in procurement, category management, or sourcing

Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously on moderately complex assignments

Strong negotiation, influence, and stakeholder management skills

Proven experience leading teams and driving cross-functional collaboration

Solid understanding of global sourcing, procurement governance, risk management, and supplier performance management

Fluent in Italian and English

Compensation And Benefits The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480). The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €40,000 and €50,000 and will be finally defined on candidate's professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.

The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
