Role Description The Freelance Journalist will research, pitch, and produce news stories, features, and explainers related to blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and Web3 for Spaziocrypto®’s digital channels. Typical responsibilities include monitoring market and regulatory developments, conducting interviews with industry participants, verifying sources, and transforming complex topics into clear, accurate, and engaging articles.
The journalist will collaborate with editors to refine angles, meet deadlines, and align coverage with the platform’s editorial standards and community interests.
This is a temporary, remote role, offering flexibility in schedule and location while requiring reliable communication and consistent delivery of assignments. Qualifications
Strong Writing and News Writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and engaging journalism on complex topics.
Experience with Research and source verification, including analyzing market data, regulatory updates, and technical materials.
Ability to draft Press Releases and other editorial announcements aligned with brand voice and messaging.
Familiarity with Broadcasting or multimedia formats (e.g., podcasts, video segments, live streams) is an advantage.
Solid understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, DeFi, and Web3 trends, or strong motivation to learn quickly.
Prior experience in financial, technology, or crypto journalism is beneficial.
Excellent command of written Italian; additional language skills are a plus.
Reliable remote work habits, including time management, responsiveness, and adherence to editorial guidelines and deadlines.
