About the Company
Aviomar Flight Academy is seeking a Flight Simulator Technician to join the team at the Monterotondo Training Centre. No prior Simulator Technical knowledge is required however a background in either IT or Engineering is highly desirable. Please do not apply if you do not hold the basic requirements listed below.
About the Role The primary role will be to support the training centre by providing support and maintenance of flight simulators under the supervision of the Technical Manager. This includes quick action to resolve issues that affect the training of aircrew using the simulators and training equipment and carrying out preventative maintenance to ensure that the simulators and building facilities are maintained to the required regulatory standard. Responsibilities
Support and maintenance of flight simulators.
Resolve issues affecting equipment.
Carry out preventative maintenance.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications
Have the right to live and work in the EU.
Good Knowledge of the English Language.
Mechanical/IT Background or Aeronautical High School Diploma Required Skills
Excellent 2-way communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Italian.
Excellent IT proficiency in PC based resources.
Basic knowledge in software coding principles.
Able to work on own initiative to identify and produce cost effective solutions to technical problems.
Must be able to work within a team.
Working hours may require working on shifts and/or during weekends.
Passion for aviation.
Preferred
Skills
Experience in IT/Software/Engineering.
Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory requirements governing Flight Simulators.
