Work Model: The position follows a hybrid work model when based at an FST Italy site. Remote work may be considered for locations not in close proximity to an FST Italy site. Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities You support our team as Cyber Security Analyst (f/m/d) Responsibilities Security Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor and analyze security alerts and events generated by detection systems to identify potential threats and anomalies.

Alert Triage & Classification: Perform initial triage, classification, and severity assessment of security alerts, evaluating potential business impact.

Incident Investigation & Response Support: Investigate security incidents using defined playbooks and support response activities by collecting and documenting relevant technical information.

Escalation & Collaboration: Escalate complex or confirmed incidents to Cyber Security Engineers or the Rapid Response team and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Containment & Remediation Coordination: Work with on-site IT support and infrastructure teams to facilitate containment and remediation actions.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and structured documentation of incidents, investigations, and outcomes to ensure traceability and transparency.

Continuous Improvement & Communication: Contribute to the improvement of security operations by providing feedback on alerts and ensuring timely communication and effective handovers.





Qualifications Cyber Security Knowledge & Experience: First experience in IT, IT security, or a SOC environment, with a strong interest in cyber security, threat analysis, and incident response.

Education & Background: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a comparable field—or equivalent practical experience.

Security Concepts & Threat Awareness: Basic understanding of common cyber attack techniques, threats, and indicators of compromise.

IT Environment & Tools: Familiarity with enterprise IT environments (networks, operating systems, cloud) and security tools such as SIEM or endpoint protection solutions.

Analysis & Technical Skills: Ability to analyze logs and security events; basic scripting or query skills (e.g., KQL, SQL, PowerShell) are an advantage.

Execution & Learning Mindset: Willingness to work in a process-driven environment and motivation to continuously develop technical and analytical skills.

Communication, Languages & Teamwork: Strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Fluent

English is required; additional languages, especially German, are a plus.
