The role We're hiring a Business Development Manager, Italy to join our Business Team. Based in Rome , you'll own and grow relationships with some of Headout's most strategic global supply partners, including iconic attractions such as the Colosseum, Vatican Museums, and other world-renowned experiences across Italy. You'll shape commercial strategy alongside the General Manager and Growth teams, drive partner success, and ensure a best-in-class commercial and operational setup.
Acting as the face of Headout, you'll represent our brand to our most important supply partners in the region, ensuring long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships that drive exceptional customer experiences and sustainable business growth.
This role is based in Rome, Italy.
Classification and Compensation Framework:
Contractual Classification: Hiring will be carried out in accordance with the CCNL Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi (Commercio) , with a positioning level of Quadro .
Entry-Level Gross Annual Salary (RAL) Range: €42,000 – €48,000.
Note: The final RAL within the advertised range will be determined based on the candidate's skills, experience, qualifications, and other objective, gender-neutral criteria. As a Quadro-level position, the overall compensation package may also include an individual superminimo ad personam and a variable incentive plan (premio), where applicable. These additional compensation elements are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria.

- Own key attraction partnerships. Manage and grow relationships with some of Headout's most important global partners, developing long-term commercial strategies that unlock sustainable growth for both Headout and our suppliers.
- Drive growth. Identify new commercial opportunities, expand existing partnerships, onboard new supply partners, and expand the breadth and quality of our inventory across Italy.
- Collaborate. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, Tech, Marketing, and Customer Experience to ensure seamless execution, exceptional partner satisfaction, and continued growth in sales and bookings.
- Optimize. Analyze market trends, partner performance, and customer demand to develop strategies that maximize revenue, improve distribution, and strengthen long-term partnerships.
What skills &
experience do you need?
- Professional proficiency in Italian and English is required
- 2-5 years in business development, sales, or key account management.
- Proven ability to manage senior external partners while collaborating effectively with cross-functional internal teams.
- Strong operational skills with a hands-on approach.
- Analytical, with excellent communication skills and a global mindset.
- Team player who thrives in diverse, multicultural environments.
- Experience with CRM systems and a willingness to learn new tools.
