BI/Business Controller

Role Purpose We are looking for a high‑potential, hands‑on Business Controller to take full ownership of controlling and FP&A; activities for Politape Group, a recently acquired group within the Fedrigoni Self‑Adhesives BU. This is a key role in a post‑acquisition environment where accuracy, speed, and continuous improvement are critical.

Responsibilities Own monthly closing, reporting, and variance analysis

- Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data (P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Drive budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform deep‑dive analysis on margins, costs, and operational KPIs
- Monitor and improve inventory and working capital
- Support cash flow analysis and tracking
- Work closely with plants and operations to ensure alignment between financials and industrial performance
- Identify and implement improvements in tools, processes, and reporting quality.

Qualifications ~4–6 years of experience in controlling,



FP&A;, or consulting; ~ Experience in a fast‑paced or private equity environment is a strong plus; ~ Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail; ~ Hands‑on attitude: comfortable working on both transactional and analytical tasks; ~ Proactive and motivated, with a continuous improvement mindset; ~ Strong Excel / data skills (Power BI or similar tools is a plus); ~ Fluent in English and German (Italian is a plus); ~ Availability to travel frequently between HQ (Milan) and production sites in Germany.
