This is a founding team role at an early-stage startup building a product from scratch. The pace is intense, and the hours will reflect that. If you are looking for a predictable 9-to-5 schedule, this role is not right for you. We need people who are energized by the early-stage grind, not drained by it.

Overview We are an early-stage startup building an AI-generated content platform for the adult creator economy. The product replicates the OnlyFans business model with one fundamental difference: every creator on the platform is AI-generated. Every photo, every video, every personality is produced by AI. No real creators. No management teams. The content is the product, and AI is how we produce it.
The AI Scientist is the most critical hire on this team. You will own the entire AI content production pipeline: model selection, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and visual consistency across all generated assets. This is a lead-level role with full ownership of the technical decisions that determine whether the product meets the quality bar required to sell.
Responsibilities Model selection and evaluation
- Evaluate, benchmark, and select AI models for image and video generation across the current landscape (Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, Flux, DALL-E, Runway, Pika, and others). Recommend and implement the optimal model stack for our use case.
Prompt engineering
- Develop, iterate, and refine prompts that produce consistent, photorealistic image and video output aligned with detailed creative specifications provided by the Art Director.
Visual consistency
- Maintain visual identity consistency across all generated assets for each AI model (character). The same face, body, and distinguishing features must remain coherent across dozens of images and video outputs. This is the most technically demanding aspect of the role.
Fine-tuning and RAG
- Apply fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, DreamBooth, textual inversion) and retrieval-augmented generation to bias model outputs toward specific visual and personality specifications. Apply these techniques across both image and video generation pipelines.
Creative collaboration
- Collaborate directly with the Art Director, who provides personality profiles, physical archetypes, backstories, and visual specifications. Translate these creative briefs into technically precise AI-generated outputs.
Offline content production
- All content — images and videos — is produced offline using external tools and uploaded to the platform as finished assets. This role is focused entirely on content quality, not platform infrastructure.
Requirements
- Demonstrated production experience shipping AI-generated visual content of images and video. Prototypes and personal projects are insufficient; we require evidence of work that was deployed and used.
- Experience with AI video generation tools (Runway, Pika, Kling, HaiLuo, or equivalent).
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of the current AI image and video generation landscape. You should have informed, experience-based opinions on model selection trade-offs across both modalities.
- Practical experience with fine-tuning techniques: LoRA, DreamBooth, textual inversion, or equivalent. These must be tools you have used in production,
not concepts you have studied.
- A strong visual eye. You must be able to identify when generated output has incorrect skin tone, unnatural lighting, or proportional inconsistencies. Technical precision and aesthetic judgment are equally important.
- Ability to work independently at a lead level. You own the pipeline, you make the technical calls, and you surface trade-offs and recommendations proactively.
- Comfort working with adult content. The platform operates in the adult creator economy. This must be clearly understood before applying.
- Available to start immediately or within one week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in computer vision, generative adversarial networks, or diffusion model architectures.
- Previous experience in the adult industry.
- Deep familiarity with influencer/follower platforms, such as OnlyFans, Fansly, or Patreon.
- Prior experience building consistent character identities across multiple AI-generated outputs.
- Familiarity with the creator economy, adult content platforms, or social media content production.
Engagement Structure This is a full-time independent contractor position on the founding team. The organization is flat. You will work under the Product & Tech Lead and have direct access to the CEO. There is no middle management. Decisions are made quickly and communication is direct.
As a founding team member, your role evolves with the company. Early contributors who deliver through the MVP and beyond will have the opportunity to grow into senior leadership positions as the team scales.
