This is a founding team role at an early-stage startup building a product from scratch. The pace is intense, and the hours will reflect that. If you are looking for a predictable 9-to-5 schedule, this role is not right for you. We need people who are energized by the early-stage grind, not drained by it.

Overview We are an early-stage startup building an AI-generated content platform for the adult creator economy. The product is a social-media-style web application where users browse AI-generated model profiles, view free content, subscribe for exclusive photos, and purchase premium videos. The business model mirrors OnlyFans, with AI-generated creators replacing real people.
The AI content is produced offline by a dedicated team. The Full Stack Developer owns everything else: backend architecture, database design, payment infrastructure, content delivery and access control, API layer, security, and third-party integrations. This is a lead-level role with full ownership of the server-side architecture from day one.
This is an AI-native engineering role. You build with Claude Code, ship with tools like Lovable, Bolt, and Supabase, and treat AI-assisted development as your standard workflow. This is how the team operates, and it is a prerequisite for the role.
Responsibilities Backend architecture
- Design and implement the complete backend architecture from scratch: database schema, API design, authentication, authorization, content delivery, media storage, and streaming.
Payment infrastructure
- Build the payment infrastructure supporting three distinct billing mechanisms: free access (no gate), subscription (recurring payment for private content), and pay-per-view (individual transactions for premium video). Stripe integration to be architected from day one.
Content delivery and access control
- Implement a secure content delivery system with tiered access control. Public content must be openly accessible. Private content must require an active subscription. Premium content must require individual purchase. Media assets must be protected against unauthorized access and downloading.
Geo-fencing architecture
- Build geo-fencing architecture into the codebase for regulatory compliance. The system must support per-country activation so jurisdictions can be blocked or allowed as needed.
Third-party integrations
- Integrate third-party APIs for analytics (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics) and customer support (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom).
API layer
- Build clean, documented APIs consumed by the frontend. The Product & Tech Lead handles the frontend; your APIs must be reliable, well-structured, and delivered in coordination.
Security
- Implement security as a baseline requirement, not an afterthought: user data protection, content protection, rate limiting, input validation, and abuse prevention.
Requirements
- Lead-level full stack development experience with a strong backend orientation. You have been the primary technical owner of at least one production system that processed payments, served media, or both.
- Payment integration experience, ideally with Stripe. You understand the architectural differences between subscription models and transactional models, and you have implemented at least one.
- Ability to design a database schema from scratch, thinking in terms of access patterns and query performance, not just entity relationships.
- AI-native development workflow. You build with Claude Code, vibe coding tools, and AI-assisted development as your default approach. This is not experimental for you; it is how you ship. If this does not describe your current workflow,
this role is not the right fit.
- Production experience with Bolt AI and Supabase. This is non-negotiable. These are core tools in our development stack and you must be proficient with both before joining.
- High standards for code quality and maintainability. You write clean code because you understand the cost of technical debt, not because a linter told you to.
- Comfort working on a platform that serves adult content. The product operates in the adult creator economy. This must be clearly understood before applying.
- Independent working style with proactive communication. When you encounter architectural decisions with trade-offs, you surface them early with a recommendation, not an open-ended question.
- Available to start immediately or within one week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building content platforms, creator economy products, or media delivery systems.
- Prior work with adult content platforms and the associated regulatory or payment processing complexities.
- Experience with Vercel or similar modern deployment infrastructure.
- Background in building tiered access control or digital rights management systems.
- Familiarity with CDN configuration and media streaming optimization.
Engagement Structure This is a full-time independent contractor position on the founding team. The organization is flat. You will work under the Product & Tech Lead and have direct access to the CEO. There is no middle management. Decisions are made quickly and communication is direct.
As a founding team member, your role evolves with the company. Early contributors who deliver through the MVP and beyond will have the opportunity to grow into senior leadership positions as the team scales.
