Job Summary
Proposals engineer for custom-made air compressor, dryer and nitrogen generation packages mostly focused in O&G; market
Responsibilities
- Preparation of technical and commercial proposals for compressed air and nitrogen generation systems for engineering projects, mainly in O&G; sector
- Analysis and evaluation of client technical specifications to develop tailored solutions and preliminary system designs.
- Selection and sizing of equipment from product portfolio, ensuring full compliance with technical and operational requirements.
- Coordination with subcontractors and suppliers to complete the integrated technical solution included in the proposal.
- Preparation of cost estimations and development of pricing structures for commercial offers.
- Development of technical and quality documentation required as part of the proposal package.
- Provision of technical support during clarification phases and bid evaluation (tabulation process).
- Direct interaction with Ingersoll Rand factories and engineering support teams,
suppliers (both during the bidding stage and project execution), and end customers.
- Handover and coordination with execution teams upon project award, ensuring continuity and full understanding of the proposed solution throughout the engineering and implementation phases.
Basic Qualifications
- Preferably some type of technical education, either intermediate or higher level (preferably in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical, or Electrical).
- Languages: English level C1 or higher. Italian highly appreciated.
- Additional languages valued: French or German.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with databases and CRM software (SalesForce).
- Familiarity with AutoCAD.
- Availability for international travel (estimated 25% of the time).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- High degree of autonomy, while also capable of working in multidisciplinary teams.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
- Fully site-based at Gorle, (BG).
- Occasional availability to travel if necessary is required.

Salary Range: 18 500 € - 32 550 €
