Test Manager

The Test Manager is responsible for defining and executing the organization's quality assurance strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality enterprise software solutions.

The role leads testing activities across the software development lifecycle, manages QA teams, and collaborates with international stakeholders to establish standardized testing methodologies, governance,



and continuous improvement initiatives across global delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and implement test strategies, plans, and quality assurance processes for enterprise software applications.
- Lead and coordinate QA teams, ensuring effective resource allocation, mentoring, and timely delivery of testing activities.
- Oversee the design and execution of manual and automated testing, ensuring comprehensive functional and non-functional test coverage.
- Collaborate with development, product, security, and business teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle and support release readiness.
- Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, defect resolution, and project risks, providing regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Establish and promote QA best practices, governance, testing standards, and continuous process improvements across international teams.
- Coordinate cross-country QA activities, ensuring alignment of testing methodologies, tools, KPIs, and reporting within the global governance framework.
- Support security validation activities, including security assessments and penetration testing, to ensure software quality and compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

- Proven experience leading software testing and quality assurance activities within Agile (Scrum) and DevOps environments.
- Experience managing QA teams and delivering enterprise software across the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps (Tests, Backlogs, Git) and modern software testing methodologies.
- Good understanding of Microsoft .NET C#, Web APIs, Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, and Visual Studio.
- Experience with manual and automated testing, including test planning, execution, defect management, and release coordination.
- Knowledge of QA automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks,



as well as performance and load testing techniques.
- Experience working with international and multicultural teams, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English; ISTQB or other software testing certifications are considered an advantage.

In compliance with applicable pay transparency legislation, we provide the following information regarding the initial remuneration envisaged for this position.

The position will be classified within the Employee category, at one of the C2, C3, B1 or B2 levels under the Italian Metalworking Industry National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria).

The classification level and any additional remuneration components supplementing the base salary will be determined based on an assessment, carried out during the selection process, of objective and neutral criteria such as, by way of example, the candidate’s professional experience, technical skills, level of autonomy and the responsibilities required by the role.
