The Cloud Platform Operations Engineer – AWS is responsible for the hands-on operation of the Imaging & Informatics cloud platform.
Cloud Platform Operations Engineers are the operational backbone of the CloudOps organization.

Once a product has met operational readiness requirements, this team is responsible for provisioning infrastructure, deploying cloud services, configuring AWS resources, and maintaining the operational health of the environment.
**Your role:**
+ Ensure **day-to-day operation, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and platform services** with high reliability and uptime.
+ Work closely with **Cloud Operations Readiness Lead, product engineering teams, and service organization** to ensure stable production environments.
+ Develop expertise in **AWS operations, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and monitoring** , contributing to **platform scalability and operational efficiency improvements** .
+ Provision and manage **AWS infrastructure and platform services** , including configuration, scaling, patching, and upgrades.
+ Monitor environments and **troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve critical incidents** to ensure service continuity.
**You're the right fit if you have :**
+ **5–10 years in cloud/platform operations** , strong hands-on experience with **AWS production environments** and **incident management** .
+ Strong knowledge of **AWS (EC2, VPC, S3,



IAM, monitoring)** , **Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)** , **CI/CD pipelines** , **scripting (Python/Bash)** , and **production troubleshooting** .
+ a **Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems** or equivalent experience.
+ Familiarity with **Docker/Kubernetes** , **monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog)** , and strong **automation mindset** with focus on **reliability and continuous improvement** .
