Role Description The Destination Wedding Planner will manage the end-to-end planning of weddings in Italy, coordinating venues, vendors, timelines, and logistics for international couples. Day-to-day activities include consulting with clients to understand their preferences, preparing proposals and budgets, organizing site visits, and maintaining clear communication across multiple time zones. The role involves coordinating ceremonies, receptions, and related events, overseeing on-the-day execution, and ensuring a high standard of customer service throughout the planning process. This is a contract role based in FLORENCE,
with a hybrid work arrangement that combines on-site presence at venues, meetings in the local area, and some work from Udine, headquarters. The planner will collaborate closely with the internal team and external partners to deliver distinctive, well-organized destination weddings aligned with WEDDINGITALY’s brand and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong planning and event planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple weddings and timelines simultaneously.
- Specialized experience in wedding planning, preferably for destination or international clients.
- Proficiency in budgeting and cost control, including vendor negotiations and financial tracking.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a client-centered approach and the ability to build trustful relationships.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or other languages is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Italian regions, venues, and local wedding customs is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and resilience under time pressure.
- Comfort with a hybrid work model, including travel to venues and flexibility for evening or weekend events as needed.
- Experience in destination and luxury events is a MUST.
