The company supports complex space programs and provides end‑to‑end mission operations, ensuring high standards of performance and operational success. /p h3Position Overview /h3 pSpace Industries S.p.A., a leading aerospace company specializing in the assembly, integration, and testing of small satellites, is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Technical Facility Manager to oversee and manage all technical infrastructure, utilities, and equipment supporting production, integration, and test operations. /p pThe ideal candidate will combine strong technical and electronic expertise with solid experience in facility operations, ensuring that all systems, machinery, and utilities are fully functional, compliant, and reliable to support aerospace‑grade activities (cleanrooms, AIT areas, test facilities). /p pThis is a hands‑on role requiring autonomy, technical competence, and a proactive approach to maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement of the facility’s performance. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage and maintain all technical facilities, utilities, and equipment used in satellite production and testing (electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, vacuum systems, cleanrooms, test chambers, etc.). /li liEnsure operational availability, safety, and compliance of all infrastructure with aerospace and industrial standards. /li liSupervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities on machinery and technical systems, coordinating internal and external resources. /li liSupport the setup and commissioning of new equipment, test benches,
and technical installations. /li liMonitor and optimize the performance of utilities (power supply, compressed air, cooling systems, etc.). /li liCollaborate with AIT and Test teams to ensure facility readiness for integration and test campaigns. /li liImplement and maintain facility documentation: maintenance plans, technical records, calibration schedules, and safety checklists. /li liManage relationships with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers. /li liSupport HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) compliance and contribute to safety risk assessments. /li liParticipate in audits and inspections (internal, customer, or agency). /li liPropose and lead improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and reliability of the facility. /li liPropose and support investment planning for facility maintenance and improvement, ensure timely procurement of materials and tools. /li liTechnical diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical fields. /li liAt least 5 years of experience in technical facility management within aerospace, industrial, or high‑tech environments. /li liStrong technical background in electrical and electronic systems, machinery operations, and facility utilities. /li liHands‑on experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of complex equipment.
