ph3Job Overview /h3 pThe Electric Drive Modules (EDMs) System Engineer is responsible for designing and defining an optimized EDM system considering all the constraints. /p pThis role will support DREs by providing technical assistance and expertise in resolving EDM system level issues. The System Engineer will participate in EDMs technical roadmap and develop different EDMs concepts to meet its technical specs, life, and quality requirements. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefining requirements for EDM system and its subcomponents – eMotor, PIM, Gearbox /li liTracking and ensuring all EDMs’ requirements-performance and efficiency are met /li liLeading the trade‑off studies working with internal teams and with suppliers for designing best EDMs /li liLeading in defining the process and in further developing tools to optimize EDM design and to evaluate EDM performance and efficiency /li liLeading in identifying and managing EDM SW features for maximizing EDM efficiency and performance /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent Engineering from an accredited university. /li li2–3 years of industrial experience in any of the below domains: /li liDesigning and developing an optimized eMotor or PIM or Gearbox or EDM for different electrified propulsion architecture and applications (BEVs) considering system efficiency, performance, NVH, cost and other system constraints. /li liPower Electronics and High Voltage System Design /li liElectric Drive Module (emotors+PIM+/Gearbox)



System Integration /li lieMotor/PIM controls or calibration for electric vehicles /li liExperience in developing system analysis (-efficiency/performance/thermal, NVH) tools or EDM system (emotors+PIM+/Gearbox) optimization tools and methods. /li liExperience in defining requirements for EDM or its subcomponents – eMotor, PIM or gearbox. /li liExcellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work both independently and with others in a team. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liPh.D. degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Equivalent Engineering from an accredited university. /li liFamiliarity with automotive product development processes and project management. /li liExcellent problem-solving techniques and analytical ability. /li liExcellent leadership skills. /li liDesign for Six Sigma (DFSS). /li /ul h3Offer /h3 ul liSalary range: from 37,000€ to 42,000€, that will be defined depending on the level of adherence of the candidate to the job requirements. /li liCollective Agreement: In accordance with the provisions of the Specific Collective Labour Agreement (CCSL – CNEL code: CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area. /li /ul pWe welcome applications from people of all gender identities, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation and disability.
