At Neuronova, we are redefining the role of analog design in modern electronics. For years, the world has pushed intelligence deeper into digital systems, bigger compute clusters and higher power budgets. We are building a new class of ultra-low-power processors that bring always-on AI directly to the edge, next to the sensor.
Our first chip, Neuronova H1, is an analog neuromorphic processor designed for real-time intelligence at sub-microwatt power levels, enabling devices to continuously perceive, understand and react to the physical world without compromising battery life. This unlocks a new generation of products across audio, wearables, biomedical, industrial sensing, and broader sensor-edge applications. The chip directly takes analog data from sensors and identify patterns in the data using Machine Learning algorithms, all consuming below 1uW.
Initial tape outs achieved what we targeted and the demand is high. We are now entering a phase where execution matters most: turning validated silicon prototypes into product-grade hardware ready to fill the demand of global companies.
The role
We are looking for a Senior IC Lead to take ownership of our silicon execution and help shape Neuronova's next generations of hardware.
This role is for someone who has built exceptional technical and organizational depth and now wants to apply it where their judgment, experience, and determination can directly influence the company's success.
At Neuronova, your contribution will be visible in the technology we build, the decisions we make, and the products we bring to life. You will have the ownership to set direction, solve complex problems,
raise the technical bar, and turn ambitious ideas into working silicon.
This is not a purely managerial role. It is a hands-on leadership position for someone who wants meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.
What you will do
• lead and participate in analog and mixed-signal IC design execution from architecture to tape-out
• work side-by-side with incredible people all focus on one objective with a new way to design chips
• transform Neuronova's silicon roadmap into product-grade hardware
• shape how the world think about analog circuit design
You will join at a crucial moment of growth, taking on significant responsibility and helping shape how hardware is built at Neuronova from the ground up.
What are we looking for
• Strong analog/mixed-signal IC design judgment, especially in low-power, noise-sensitive, mismatch-sensitive, sensor-interface or always-on circuits
• Experience owning or materially leading at least two silicon programs from prototype toward product
• Experience across multiple tapeout iterations with clear decisions into what changed from one revision to the next
• Hands-on expertise in schematic design, layout review, PVT/Monte Carlo analysis, verification, signoff, tapeout, bring-up, debug and characterization
• Zero fear to get your hands dirty with all aspects of silicon: from design to layout
• Comfort working in a fabless model with foundries, EDA tools, layout, packaging, test and external partners
• Product mindset:
manufacturability, testability, yield, schedule, customer constraints and the next silicon revision matter to you
• Ability to lead a small technical team while remaining hands-on and deeply technical
• Strong execution mindset, practical judgment and clear communication
• A eager to see things growing exponentially
Nice to have
• Experience with ultra-low-power analog, sensor ASICs, MEMS interfaces, audio, wearables, biomedical, industrial sensing or always-on edge devices
• Experience with neuromorphic, event-driven, in-memory compute, asynchronous circuits, SNN hardware or analog AI accelerators
• Startup or small fabless semiconductor company experience
• Familiarity with mature-node or specialty analog processes
• European semiconductor network and ability to attract additional hardware talent

Location
Milan + hybrid.
Compensation
Salary commensurate with experience (90-100K), with the opportunity to participate in an employee stock option plan (ESOP).
