Role OverviewThe Group IT System & Cloud Administrator provides senior-level technical support for infrastructure transformation initiatives across Somacis Group, working under the guidance of the Group IT Operations Manager. The role supports the execution of key projects — including Microsoft 365 migration, Nutanix rollout, SD-WAN/SASE deployment, Backup infrastructure modernization — by configuring, documenting, and troubleshooting systems, and by assisting in the coordination of external vendors. The role also provides ongoing operational support for the IT ecosystem in place, along with new IT platforms delivered, working closely with both the local IT Operations team and IT staff across the Group.This is a hands-on technical role, not a people-management or project-ownership position.Reporting LineReports to the Group IT Operations Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the technical execution of infrastructure transformation projects (M365, Nutanix, SD-WAN, Backup & DR)Execute technical project tasks and cutover activities for infrastructure initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Configure and document system components for virtualization, cloud, storage, and backup environments across Somacis Group entitiesAssist in coordinating with external vendors during solution implementation and troubleshooting.Support handover of newly deployed infrastructure into steady-state operations, working closely with the IT Operations TeamProvide operational support for the IT ecosystem in place, along with new IT platforms delivered, working closely with both the local IT Operations team and IT staff across the Group.Monitor system health,



performance and capacity, flagging emerging issues before they impact the businessApply patches, updates and minor configuration changes to IT systems and technologies following change management proceduresContribute to technology standardization efforts across the group's multi-site environment.Provide senior-level troubleshooting and escalation support for complex infrastructure issuesEnsure infrastructure configurations align with the Group's compliance and security requirementsRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support and cloud administration roles.Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (Nutanix, VMware)Working experience with Microsoft 365 / Entra ID administration (tenant configuration, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Entra Hybrid Identity).Intermediate knowledge of SD-WAN/SASE technologies and enterprise networking fundamentals.Experience with enterprise backup solutions and storage infrastructureComfortable executing technical tasks within a structured project framework, under supervision of senior/managerial staff.Fluent in English (written and spoken); Italian is a plus giventhe group's HQ location.Good documentation skills and comfort working in a structured ITSM environmentGood collaboration skills and attitude to work in teamWhat we offer:CCNL Metalmeccanica IndustriaGross Annual Salary (RAL): €40,000–€50,000, depending on experience and qualificationsMeal vouchersHybrid working: up to 2 days of remote working per weekWork Location: Castelfidardo (AN), Italy, Somacis Headquarter#J-18808-Ljbffr
