ph3Overview /h3pAs System Controls Solution Architect at Vertiv, you will define the technical and commercial architecture for system-level thermal controls and optimization across customer projects. You will bridge Offering Management, Sales, Engineering, and Service to scope, cost, and hand over projects for successful execution. You will shape hardware, software, and integration definitions for CDU systems, cooling networks, and plant-level optimization. This role offers impact on large-scale thermal solutions and energy efficiency, contributing to Vertiv’s mission to power the future. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDefine system architecture for thermal controls and optimization on customer projects /liliSpecify hardware and software scope per project and identify PLC/IO, interfaces, HMI/SCADA requirements /liliEnsure integration with CDU systems, secondary loops, pumps, chillers, and heat reuse devices /liliSupport commercial offering: scope, assumptions, exclusions, risks, and deliverables /liliContribute to project economics, budgeting, cost build-up, pricing inputs and margin analysis /liliIdentify upselling opportunities in advanced control features, analytics, energy efficiency, and lifecycle support /liliCoordinate requirements across Offering Management, Sales, Engineering and technical teams /liliPrepare technical proposals, architecture descriptions, and customer-facing documentation /liliCollaborate with Sales, Application Engineering,



Platform Engineering and BU teams in pre-sales and ongoing projects /liliEnsure clear handover to commissioning with scope, requirements, risks and constraints /liliCapture lessons learned to inform roadmap and product improvements /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent /liliExperience in HVAC controls, liquid cooling controls, BMS, chiller plant controls, data center infrastructure or industrial automation /liliStrong understanding of hydronic and liquid cooling systems and related equipment /liliProficiency in interpreting customer specifications, PIDs, control diagrams and I/O lists /liliKnowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, industrial networks and communication protocols /liliAbility to translate technical requirements into commercial scope and deliverables /liliExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Project Management /liliStrong communication skills in English /liliExperience with system-level controls, supervision platforms, optimization, energy management or analytics (preferred) /liliFamiliarity with Ignition, Unify, Codesys, Modbus TCP, BACnet, MQTT (preferred) /li /ulh3Benefits and Compensation /h3ulliSalary range 50.000–60.000 EUR /liliVariable compensation potential /liliComprehensive benefits package /liliCareer development opportunities /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
