As Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers with a revenue stream in the region. You will be responsible for executing CHEP’s business strategy and well as developing as implementing specific account plans. Key objectives of the role are to protect existing customer revenue, meet business growth targets and increase customer satisfaction. An additional focus is required on First & Last Mile Solutions and Transport collaboration in order to identify opportunities and promote/develop new projects. Key Accountabilities will include:
- Manage CHEP’s relationship across a portfolio of CHEP customers- Identification and conversion of growth opportunities.- Build networks and relationships with stakeholders at all levels within customers’ supply chains, procurement, marketing- Develop and implement joint strategic plans with key customers addressing topics such as growth, cost reduction,
sustainability and ease of business.- Drive improved customer experience and engagement.- Manage commercial tender and contract negotiations with customers- Implement category & value proposition approach with customers in own portfolio- Identify opportunities for Customer transport collaborations for growth and retention initiatives; implement the sustainability strategy with customers in own portfolio- Identify opportunities for FMS/LMS and implement FMS/LMS strategy with Customers in own portfolio- Manage negotiation with customers to solve disputes and reduce DSO- Implement joint actions plan with retail team in order to increase retailers CHEP share- Execute audit program in line with CHEP annual audit plan.- Use agile methodology in approaching new customer solutions and be comfortable to work in matrix and in a remote environment This job is for you if you have: - 3-5 years experience in a customer facing, field-based role
- A business-related degree would be desirable but is not essential
- Analytically minded with great attention to detail.
- Strong networking, relationship building and inter-personal skills
- Excellent commercial negotiation and presentation skills.
- Salesforce usage
- Familiarity with CHEP’s value proposition
- Supply Chain Mapping
- Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrable examples of success.
- Worked with financial measures and KPIs.
- Team player with the ability to work on own initiative. Languages:
