Lead Engineer Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, regulatory standards, and permit systems, overseeing all on-site works
Lead response to building services infrastructure issues, coordinating with Site Engineers and engaging third‐party specialists when necessary.
Coordinate incident management, maintaining & issuing incident reports using CMMS systems.
Operate within defined Service Operations processes and work within site‐specific standard operating procedures.
Undertake duties as required as an HV Authorized Person in all aspects required in the operation of an operational facility, from safe isolations to issuing of permits to work.
Manage planned and reactive maintenance tasks on building services infrastructure, ensuring compliance with CMMS systems and operational procedures.
Monitor SLA compliance, communicate effectively with client representatives, and facilitate incident management processes.
With support from Site Engineers, and in collaboration with the Technical Ops planning team, oversee the initial supervision of Specialist Service Contractors,



conducting inductions, approving minor works listed on service report sheets.
Provide support to Data Center and Site Management teams, including communication assistance, technical information provision, and holiday/sickness coverage coordination.
Lead Engineer Qualifications
Strong experience working in mission‐critical mechanical & electrical environments.
Experience in data centers or a similar environment is essential.
Knowledge of key infrastructure components of DCs (like UPS's, Generators, and Cooling systems)
Recognized formal electrical training (City and Guilds etc.).
Experience and Knowledge of the Operation of Critical Building infrastructure (Electrical, Mechanical, and Building Fabric)
ITIL and/or Service Now Experience is preferred but not essential.
Can prepare & present relevant information in front of all types of audiences.
