Whether focusing on a geographic area, agency type, solution portfolio, or public sector segment, the goal remains the same: to build trusted relationships and support the digital transformation of public services. /ppWe serve as the direct link between innovative technology solutions and the evolving needs of public institutions, helping them improve efficiency, security, and citizen services. /ppJoin us as an bAccount Executive – Public Sector /b in bRome /b to do the best work of your career and contribute to projects with real societal impact. /ph3Responsibilities /h3pbWhat you’ll achieve /b /ppAs an Account Executive focused on the public sector, you will be responsible for building strong institutional relationships and delivering an outstanding experience for both existing and prospective clients. /ppYou will: /pulliDevelop a deep understanding of public sector customers’ priorities, challenges, and regulatory environments leading large and complex opportunities, including public tenders and framework agreements /liliIdentify and position technology solutions aligned with digital transformation, modernization, and public service improvement initiatives /liliIncrease share of spend across the full portfolio of technology solutions (Client Solutions Group, infrastructure, software, cybersecurity, and services) within public sector accounts /liliManage territories and/or accounts, including account planning, sales forecasting, opportunity tracking (including public tenders),
and engagement of cross-functional teams /liliCollaborate with technical, legal, and pre‑sales teams to deliver compliant and competitive proposals within public procurement frameworks /liliRegularly engage with key decision‑makers in public sector organizations (IT leadership, procurement officers, senior management, etc.) /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3pbTake the next step in your career /b /ppEvery team member brings unique value. Here’s what we are looking for in this role: /pulliAt least 5 years of experience selling technology solutions, ideally within the public sector /liliStrong understanding of public sector ecosystems, including procurement processes and regulatory considerations /liliProven experience managing public tenders and competitive bidding processes /liliExcellent customer management and consultative selling skills /liliAbility to engage, influence, and present to senior stakeholders (CIOs, senior executives, and key decision‑makers) /li /ulpCompensation: Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
