We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scientific/Statistical Analyst to join our team In a few months, you could be in a role where we challenge you to support our team in actively research and develop the scientific basis for the quantification of the carbon CO2 emission throughout the supply chain. You also get to choose when, where, and how you work being supported by a team of experts in data managing and visualization. **About the Role** They will be responsible for conducting continuous research on the impact of CO2 emissions throughout the supply chain, while staying updated with international regulations and scientific targets, such as the Science-Based Targets Initiative (SBTI). Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research on the impact of CO2 emissions throughout the supply chain, using statistical analysis to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and implement models to assess the environmental impact of various processes and activities.
- Stay up to date with international regulations and scientific targets related to CO2 emissions and integrate them into research methodologies.
- Communicate research findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other mediums. **About the Team** We're a young team with highly skilled and motivated Scientific background working on climate and nature risk assessment that's always working to find solutions that allow our customer in getting their risk exposure. degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, statistics, or a related discipline.
- Strong background in scientific research methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python for data analysis and visualization. Nice to Haves: - Experience with environmental impact assessment and carbon accounting methodologies is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
