Research Assistant – Erler Group, BRIC, University of Copenhagen
The Erler group studies how cancer spreads through the body and grows at new sites. We focus on how the tumor microenvironment regulates cells to identify and test new strategies to combat metastatic tumor growth. We foster a culture of teamwork, diversity, inclusivity and innovation.
About the Position
This is a 10‐month appointment with a start date to be confirmed. The role is full‐time, 37 hours per week.
Your tasks
Carry out routine laboratory tasks, e.g. molecular biology, tissue culture, preparation of laboratory reagents and other daily lab routines.
Participate in various research projects studying cancer progression in close collaboration with the group's scientists.
Profile
Essential Experience And Skills
Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology.
Experience with extracellular matrix and cell signalling in cancer progression.
Ability to work independently, be organized, and be self‐motivated.
Good interpersonal and communication skills in Danish and English; spoken and written.

Terms of salary and employment
The position is at BRIC, University of Copenhagen, under the agreement for Academics in the State. Remuneration follows the AC agreement and is based on seniority, with opportunity to negotiate additional supplements based on qualifications.
