About This Role
We are seeking a skilled Clearing Operational Risk Manager to join our team in Rome. In this role, you will support the operational risk framework and contribute to the ongoing development of risk culture and processes across the organisation, ensuring robust risk management in line with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
You will be primarily responsible for:
Leading and coordinating the identification, assessment, monitoring and mitigation of operational and IT risks, including cyber security, IT resilience, business continuity, third-party and data management
Develop, manage and monitor Key Risk Indicators and promote risk awareness across the Company
Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of the Enterprise risk management framework, ensuring alignment with Group policies, regulatory requirements (including DORA) and industry standards
Providing expert guidance on risk policies, methodologies and control requirements to business and functional teams
Coordinating scenario analysis and contributing to Recovery and Resolution Plans, presenting findings and recommendations to management
Preparing and delivering clear and concise risk reporting to Senior Management, Risk Committees and the Board
Analysing incidents and emerging risks, issuing recommendations for mitigation and supporting follow‐up actions
Drafting Operational risk assessment on strategic initiatives and projects
Acting as a point of contact for regulators, resolution authorities and internal/external auditors, coordinating responses and ensuring timely engagement
