Payments are evolving fast — and so is this role. Our client is looking for a consultative, high-energy sales professional to drive the next phase of growth in POS and payment solutions. Think less "hard sell," more trusted advisor: helping SMBs unlock smarter, simpler ways to get paid.
Payment Solution Business Developer | Milan | €35,000 base salary + Uncapped Commission
Language requirements: Italian (English is desirable, not a requirement)
Responsibilities
Revenue Growth: Drive the end-to-end sales cycle for POS solutions, focusing on both new acquisitions and upselling/cross-selling within the current customer portfolio.
Consultative Selling: Act as a subject matter expert, helping partners identify and implement the payment solutions best suited to their specific business needs.
Strategic Contribution:
Play a key role in refining our POS sales strategy, providing on-the-ground feedback to leadership to optimize our commercial approach.
Industry Leadership: Bring deep industry expertise and best practices to the wider sales team, acting as a mentor for complex payment-related queries.
Performance Tracking: Consistently monitor your sales pipeline and activation metrics, ensuring all signed deals move through to active, revenue-generating partners.
About You
Proven experience in POS or Payment Solution sales is essential. You don't just wait for leads; you have the resilience to hunt for opportunities and the commercial sense to close them. You are able to translate complex payment technology into simple, value-driven benefits for small-to-medium business owners.
Based in Milan or commutable, you are comfortable navigating a fast-paced field sales environment and building lasting relationships.
