ph3Field Service Engineer Proton Therapy /h3 pYou play a key role in IBA’s mission to treat cancer patients. /p pYou are responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of IBA equipment and systems (hardware and software) on IBA or customer's sites, in order to deliver within defined timelines a final reliable working product, matching quality, performance and customer satisfaction requirements. You also participate in maintenance and operations of IBA equipment at bHumanitas Proton Therapy Center in Rozzano /b. You are based on site, but open to travel for training and support purposes. You report to the Site Manager and you will be working with a team of 5 people. /p h3Challenges we trust you with /h3 pAs Field Engineer Proton Therapy, you are responsible for: /p ul liTechnical ownership of a site subsystem according to area competencies /li liMaintaining and troubleshooting the equipment dealing with electrical, mechanical, and software matters /li liTesting and repairing the equipment/systems according to the technical specifications /li liUpgrading and improving the system in collaboration with the RD department /li liEnsuring the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies/services /li liProposing solutions that improve equipment reliability, stability and operability /li liPreparing and setting up of equipment/systems on a daily basis for clinical operations /li liOperating the equipment and providing technical support to the medical staff during daily operations /li liEnsuring daily reports of activities, maintenance execution and incidents in the appropriate IT tools /li liMaintaining adequate records as defined by the specific facility /li liDirect contact with internal and external clients /li liMaintaining the third parties equipment (TPS, OIS, various gating systems)



/li /ul h3What We Value /h3 ul liA technical bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of electronics, mechatronics, automation, or telecommunications /li liAs alternative a technical high school diploma with solid experience in an industrial environment in maintenance, installation and troubleshooting activities dealing with electrical equipment and plants /li liGood verbal good communication skills in Italian and English /li liGood written and reporting skills in Italian and English /li liGood analytical and logical reasoning skills for root cause analysis /li liA broad technical interest and motivation to perform hands‑on work /li liBasic/medium level of IT knowledge to perform first line interventions on sys admin matters /li /ul h3And you also are: /h3 ul liCustomer‑oriented /li liAble to follow rules and regulations /li liEager to learn new fields, continuously updating your knowledge (Electronics, Software, Hardware, Beam Physics, Medical Application etc.) /li liWilling to share your knowledge in your area of expertise /li liA team player with strong interpersonal skills /li liA flexible person, willing to work in rotating shift work (mainly morning and afternoon shifts but also late afternoon and night shifts to perform activities after the patient’s treatments. Weekend shifts could be scheduled in rotation on the entire team).

The actual offer will be determined on an individual basis, taking into account objective and gender‑neutral factors including relevant professional experience, qualifications, specific competencies, and internal equity. The range does not constitute a guaranteed salary and is subject to adjustment based on the final assessment of the selected candidate’s profile.
