**Job Description Summary**:
The EHS Intern will act as a member of the EHS Team in Sesto San Giovani Site for the assigned area and/or process. The mission will be to support planning and execution of Environmental Health and Safety programs and policies. **Essential Responsibilities**
- Support the EHS Team to define, improve, lean, simplify, communicate and maintain site EHS program requirements and expectations
- Implement/modify related EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed regulations
- Modify and implement compliance tracking programs and record keeping systems
- Ensure compliance of plant operations with regulatory requirements relating to health and safety
- Manage environmental regulatory topics, with particular reference to air and waste
- Provide and determine alternatives for issue resolution **Qualification/Requirements**
- Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical, Environmental,



Industrial Engineering or related health and safety disciplines from an accredited university
- Previous work experience in EHS
- Knowledge of Italian EHS regulation (D.lgs. 81/2008; D.lgs. 152/2006) and
- Knowledge of EHS international standards (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks
- Fluent Italian and good English knowledge
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required **Desired Characteristics**
- Data Analysis skills
- Knowledge of GE EHS programs and systems (Including Gensuite)
- Ability to prioritize workload commitments and multitask.
