As a Purchasing Administrator at Haasf1team, you will play a critical role in the procurement process, ensuring that the team has the necessary materials and components to maintain its competitive edge in Formula 1 racing. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, processing purchase orders, and supporting the overall supply chain operations within the team.

What you'll do

- Manage the procurement process by creating and processing purchase orders for various components and materials required by the racing team.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions, including supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and inventory levels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions that align with the team's budget and goals.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of new suppliers, conducting assessments based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.




- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure efficient transportation and delivery of purchased items to the team's facilities.
- Support the finance department by providing necessary documentation for invoice processing and payment approvals.
- Participate in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss procurement strategies and address any supply chain challenges.
- Implement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
- Analyze purchasing data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Provide administrative support to the purchasing department, including filing, reporting, and other clerical tasks as needed.

Requirements

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the automotive or motorsport industry.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms with suppliers.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail,



with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to take initiative in improving processes.

Nice to have

- Experience in the motorsport industry or a related field is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Additional language skills, particularly Italian or German, would be advantageous.
- A degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
