We are looking for a Front Office Agent (Shift Rotation) to be the first point of contact for our guests and manage all aspects of their stay. The Front Office Agent’s responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information on rooms, rates and services. If you have a talent for customer service and experience working in the hotel industry, we would love to meet you and offer you the opportunity to help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.Responsibilities
Perform all check‑in and check‑out activities
Manage online and telephone bookings
Inform guests about payment methods and verify their credit card details
Register guests by collecting the necessary information (contact details and exact dates of their stay)
Greet guests upon arrival and assign rooms
Provide information about our hotel, available rooms,
rates and services
Respond to customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to meet guests’ needs
Upsell additional facilities and services when appropriate
Maintain up‑to‑date booking and payment records
Qualifications
Experience working as a hotel front desk clerk, receptionist or similar role
Experience with hotel reservation software such as Opera (plus)
Customer‑service aptitude
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Problem‑solving skills
